So I'm not referring to kids who can't afford it, poverty stricken. I'm talking about teens who don't wear it by choice. My nephew 14 and its 30 degrees outside. Hes walking with a Champion hoodie. In my generation, all teens wore a coat. If you didn't people would accuse you of acting "White" . Dont get me wrong some young people do. And its still a fashion statement (i.e. Moncler)

I’m grown. I never liked coats/jackets as a kid and still don’t. Albeit I lived most my life in Cali, but even in living on the east coast and Chicago I don’t put on a coat unless it’s less than 35. I roll with a hoodie or sweatshirt if I’m just walking to/from a car to indoors or a short 5 min walk to a corner store. I ain’t about all that effort to layer up for a few minutes of cold.
