The problem is that Romo is a HUGE tease. He'll do some good shyt and throw nice only to upset you minutes later. He Has good stats and make great plays under the radar during the season but can't perform in clutch situations or when it matters the most.

In terms of getting rid of Romo, that's a huge gamble considering who the heck can we get? Also even if we somehow get Tebow, is he worth the money because he's only a streaky dude.
