Cmon man you know words have power. There's a reason you don't talk to people you don't know spicy. There is a reason people in general strive to gain mastery of words and have an impressive vocabulary. Your ability to express yourself can make you stand out while in competition for a job, a loan, etc...
They can if you try living with you speak. Pac was reckless that's why he's dead. I love Pac but I do not feel like it was the music that got him killed. He made very poor choices that night. Hell he made very poor choices many nights because he wore his heart on his sleeve.

Oh my …the coli strikes again :russ: juicewrld and biggie are the prime example , he’s talking about the power of words over your own life directly and indirectly , hell mo3 had a video of him in the morgue …his Ass really ended up there soon after ….did some nikka post shoot em up by Nas to downplay what he said:mjlol:
i hate this confirmation bias

what about all the people who died who didnt talk about death? and all the people who rap about death who arent dead?

i feel like the people you mentioned died less because of rapping about death and more because you know...being on drugs and having street beef

Exactly the point I was trying to make it's the actions that follow the words imo.

How could it go over my head... the bar is basic as fukk lol as if its some complex metaphorical bar or something.

I'm just saying shut up Nas because you've rapped about death in many of your songs. I like Nas, I just call out hypocrites when I see them and I'm not offended about anything.

it’s not a black or white issue thing ,I’m not saying it’s 100%, what type of energy that you put out can come back on you in many different way beside a early death , the energy of the world is real, do you believe in manifestation because if you do I know how to explain it and break it down

Never.

An OG telling me not to make the same mistakes he did is only wise because he made those mistakes in the first place. I too have to make those mistakes so that I can be wise like him.

And the cycle continues.

It's a concoction: energy > thoughts > words > actions. And a few more things, they're all connected.

So music by itself does not cause anything. It's a critical ingredient now.
