It's not about what it accomplishes but it should set the precedent
and first off look at what it was a response to
on the surface, yes it was the unjust killing of Freddie Gray
but it's the result of generation of neglect by those in elected officials, and the constant friction between the police (protectors of capital and private property) and the populace
I don't advocate illegalism
but I damn sure will always side with the people when it comes to fighting back against a system that continues to put a boot on their face and give them sanctimonious speeches about how to bettering themselves.
i don't give a damn if it's a republican, an "independent thinker", democrat, millennial or what have you, those elected into office work for us, and if they step out of line and continue towards supporting the miserable conditions in this country, they should always now and forever expect push back, whether that it's a protest or a brick going through a damn window.
Don't know your ages, but both of you are at least old enough to have seen the Baltimore riot.
