this 9ers team shouldn't be playing this bad regardless if no CMC. the defense and offense look like they took a step or two back, especially the defense.

Yeah, I don't see Kyle backing down like Harbaugh did at Michigan, which is what made him finally win a ring. We are basically the experience Kyle will need to win a SB years down the line with another franchise (like Reid with Philly)

i agree. this team has been stacked and to fall short the way they have is a failure by kyle imo. depending how this season ends i'm not sure they should give brock the bag he is expecting and also trade away from players and go younger.

Brock getting the bag is inevitable and 3 years from now that contract will go from "can't believe they paid him that much" to middle of the pack. Move on from Brock just to get cheaper makes little sense when he's a good QB that's still improving.

We gotta get younger and better on the offensive line. Puni was a good pick it seems, we still have RT, C to get better and younger at. And by 2026 we have to pick Trent's successor as well.

The front office and ownership are tied to Kyle for better or worse going forward. If they try to leash him after he was able to successfully scapegoat Wilks last season he'll leave and they'll be dealing with a coach trying to figure out a team that's custom made for Kyle's coaching and playcalling style.

First time in 7 years, no Buckner or armstead
