Calvin was guarded 1 on 1 by a bad corner most of the game. When that same corner saw Calvin when it mattered and with safety help Calvin was quiet as a mouse. Fitz was possesed all game blocking and receiving. Calvin is a piss poor blocker. He got knocked around in the run game by Brandon Carr in the playoff game last year. These are facts only people who pay attention to the game sees. Calvin only plays to his size when the ball is jump ball situations.

Dez Bryant is done and will never be the same, Cowboy.

Calvin is better though. I like fitz but no. It's been on Cj is whole career to make the team go. Fits has had way better teams surrounding him.

Calvin should have even crazier stats but he has had nothing but bums as qbs. If he was on a different north team like greenbay. Dear lord....:wow:

I am a die hard lion fan. I watch anything that has to do with Lions.

Fitz is better than Calvin at these following things

Route Running
Hands
Toughness
Rac

Calvin stats would be no different if Arod or Tom was QB. I love my boy Swaggford, but the elite Qb's see everything. So locking on Calvin would not happen. They spread the wealth. My Lions have a problem just focusing on Calvin and it costs us a lot of games. In a way he is just like Barry. Go thru long stretches of games doing nothing really. Then bam a 60 or 80 yard gain. Now the stats look great. And my team gets blamed, but really a lot of times Cal just don't be precise with his routes just as much as Stafford is with his passing RT

I think they are about even so I wont choose. Fitz is extremely clutch though and his moments in big games stand out. But CJ could dominate to I feel if given the chance in the playoffs.

Calvin's greatest strength hurts him in this comparison. His size and length don't allow him to be as quick in his cuts and have the breakaway speed all the shorter WRs possess. Since he's 6'5, maybe 6'6 in cleats any given Sunday, he can't move the way the ABs and OBJs of the world do.

Fitz is in the middle. He's not as small and shifty as those shorter WRs, but he's not Megatron.

At the end of the day, every GM and coach would take Calvin as their WR1 over Fitz, imo. Dude is a 6'5 video game create a character out there. He might not possess anything truly elite other than size and hands, but he's literally unguardable.

Prime Calvin was better than current AJ, Dez, Demaryius, and Julio.

And I don't buy the "look at his QB" arguments. We've seen WR's beast with mediocre QB's because medicore QB's depend on their #1 receiver most of the time.

So you're going to be targeted more.

Fitz had 1500 yard seasons with Josh McCown as his QB.And that was with Anquan Boldin on the other side of the field. If he didn't have to share targets with Boldin, he probably could've got 17-1800 yards out there.

Matthew Stafford is much better than McCown.....more than capable of giving Megatron every opportunity to pad his stats.

I'm just saying, players CAN benefit from being the only target out there.Especially talented jump ball dudes like Calvin

Now compare josh mccown career with Dan Orlovsky/Shaun Hill, strawman

All 4 categories being complete intangibles. Of course. Tangible things aren't in your favor?
