I laughed harder at Don't Be A Menace on first watch, but Friday has much better replay value.

Friday, Next Friday, and Friday After Next are hood comedy classics.
Don't be a Menace... is funny, but some of that shyt came off madd corny and just annoying, kinda how the "Scary Movies" are.
I can watch any of the Friday's constantly, I can't do that with the Scary Movies, or Don't be a Menace.
it's weird because I can watch "In Living Color" 24/7 and not get sick of it.
Next Friday and Friday After Next are trash.The first Friday was on some real type stuff with funny parts. It was like watching Menace to Society/Boys in the Hood but with ton of funny things in the mix. Every Friday movie after...was just for pure comedy...and made it suck to me.

The sequels didn't suck but they was basically slapstick parodies of the original.movie...the original movie was VERY well written and directed...shyt suffered BIG TIME when F Gary Gray and DJ Pooh wasn't in the mix no more...F Gary Gray brought that shyt to life from the scenery to the score and music...
