Frost & Crouch were option QB's. You can't compare them really. They were running backs.

Tebow was like a LB/H-back. He would run over SEC LB's. He wasn't as evasive like Burrow is.

I don't trust 23 year olds that come outta nowhere in college. I go by first impressions. I watched him last year and saw nothing special about him. I ain't gonna just fall in love with him cause he had a great season this year.

To me greatness is apparent early on. With QBs its typically by your second year in college. If you ain't flashing talent by the time you're a sophomore then you're prolly not that good.

You know OSU wasn't sitting Barrett no matter how average he was.

LSU was a dumpster fire on offense for a decade. Tough to expect a guy with no spring to adjust on the fly.
