I take no joy in saying it, but Gary isn’t even putting together mediocre at bats . He’s chasing pitches a foot outside the zone and near his feet.

The difference between Gary and Romine is that you're downgrading defensively without even guaranteeing that he'll do any better on offense. And you're asking Romine to deal with 6+ pitchers when Gary has been above and beyond expectations calling games and playing D.

The offense so far has mainly been DJ, Judge and Torres. Everyone else has been cold with a good moment here and there.
