Green's throwing a lot of Slider's. Very out of the norm from him.

Houston has a fastball-dominant batting approach. That's why Tanaka was successful and Green so far.

Spot the fastball, but hit them with sliders, curveballs and changeups and they look average at best. It helped that Paxton was throwing so many 97-98 mpg fastballs and not commanding them. Green, on the other hand, is sppotting the 95-97 mph fastball, while leading with the off-speed stuff. They are off-balance right now.
