Here's something that's developing that's not being talked about: DJ may have played himself into the everyday 1B job next year.

I know they want his versatility, but it's hard to find good defensive 1B. He should stay at first

He's Gold Glove quality at 2B & 3B as well. But I agree. Leave him at 1B, but also in the backup 2B/3B role as well in 2020 and extend that contract. DJLM, Gleyber Didi, and Gio is a very sound IF. Wade and Andujar in the bench roles. Lots of flexibility there.

In the OF, Judge, Hicks, Stanton, Gardner, and probably Tauchman.

Here's what we have as position surplus for trades/backup roles next season, at this moment. Andujar, Voit, Bird, Frazier, possibly Mike Ford, and depending on whether we re-sign Romine or not, Kyle H.

Regrettably, I don't think we'll bring back Maybin nor EE. We will have a major 40 man roster crunch after this season. This is a great problem to have, but I hope that we can win #28, so that all of these savages get their rings.
