The offense let this team down. With the exception of gm1, they've had countless opportunities to drive in runs and they've fukked it up.
What really let this team down is Cashman...

Pitching wins championships and everyone knew since 2017 we needed a pitcher to pair with Tanaka...

He completed failed to find that pitcher...

I was worried about this after the Yankees swept. Astros carried over the momentum from there close first round series. The Yankees never had to deal with adversity in the postseason and are getting clobbered partly because of it.
That’s not it. The problem is that we have one good starter in October who needs to be 2018 Degrom levels of good since all our other starters suck and 6 of our hitters perform like James harden facing elimination against the warriors or spurs every postseason no matter what pitcher they face.

Same ish in 2017. They never talk about well the Astros are playing. It's always about how bad the Yankees are playing.
Our 4-9 hitters came into tonight hitting .112 for the series with 1 run batted in and 6 walks to 22 strikeouts and haven’t been any better tonight. I don’t care who’s pitching. When the offense is that bad, the story is how bad the offense is.
