I’m not a huge baseball fan or anything but I’m definitely enjoying these World Series.

Serious questions:

1. Is Darvish normally a good pitcher?
2. Was it somehow ‘mandatory’ or unavoidable (due to injuries) to start him again after how he pitched the previous game he started?

He really dropped the ball before and I was surprised to see him on the mound in the most important game of the year..

If this was a choice, it would be fair to say this was as much the manager’s fault as the player’s fault..

1. Yeah, Darvish is pretty good. He was good in his two postseason starts this year before the World Series.

2. Was not mandatory. Roberts gave him the start because he was on normal rest and had to figure he'd bounce back because of his track record.
