Gotta disagree with you breh on comparing K.Lamar with Trump. IMO theres not enough outrage over Black on Black crime. To some degree its even glorified. Spice 1 killed more nikkaz on one album than James Bond's entire collection. Spice 1 is just a drop in the bucket. That said, the problems facing young Blacks are multiple and complex, so ai see nothing wrong with a K. Lamar figure expressing his thoughts on one aspect of the problem. One can yell all day about police brutality, but IMO it still boils down to cause and effect. Black on Black crime demands an increased police presence which also increases the police getting it wrong. Theres nothing wrong with addressing the police when they get it wrong, however, there needs to be an equal response and accountabilty of our youth and lack of parenting. Personally I dont think we shame and ostrasize enough of our own at times.
