I haven't read every post in this thread so pardon me if I missed it. But 500 posts in, has anyone mentioned mental illness and how the need to self medicate through chemicals enhances its already negative properties?


It's funny how we always accuse white people of saying how their killers and drug abusers are "sick and need help" while dismissively criminalizing Blacks as inherently evil. But we do the same thing to our own people..

A lot of times the statement "That n1ggas crazy!!" isn't just a throw away comment. It can actually be explained by a medical diagnosis...

But we are conditioned just like everyone else to believe that some of these kids are just "bad"..

Absolutely. It took me to be well into my 30's to realize how I grew up was not normal. It is the main reason why this late in my life I've started getting involved in community outreach and creating programs locally.
