Detroit
One of the best cities I've been to, clean tap water, beautiful women, culture and a renaissance of young black creatives migrating over. I'm making Detroit my home in a few years :blessed:

I haven't lived in Detroit since the late 2000s when I got out of college (I'm in Lansing about an hour away) but I've given some serious thought to moving back :wow: it's so much different than when I was growing up

Only real reason I don't is that I like my job and would rather not be too far (even if I'm remote most of the time).

Detroit has actually improved a lot

A lot of new development has been built and young people been slowly moving there

So yeah I would want America to improve like Detroit you orange b*stard :umad:
How much of the improvement is benefiting long term residents? A lot of them left Detroit. Now others will eat as properly values increase again and redevelopment happens. Same vicious cycle as NY

I gave a hint to this about a month ago that it'd only be a matter of time before Trump or Vance started making dog whistles about Black Americans (FBA, ADOS, etc) :sas2::mjpls:.

Matter of time? :dahell:

Notice the theme - Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore, St. Louis, Oakland, and Ferguson. Many of them mentioned over and over. What do those places even have in common other than being associated with Black people?

He said even more racist things before he started thinking about running for president, I've only included the statements he made publicly once his asperations for president were well known.

I was in the motor city this summer. The houses in the Boston Edison District :wow: with the way the economy is going, getting a refurbished home to fix up is going to be my choice. Let folks sleep all they want on the D :dame:

Bothsiders are mysteriously quiet in this thread.

A rapist is in that other thread, talking about Obama is talking down on me :mjlol:

Trump is blowing the horn for his MAGA troops to assemble and make the rest of 2024 and 2025 into a shytshow, espiecially WHEN he loses.

I asked one of the main ones in the other thread, if he was really #bothsides and "doesn't care who wins" like he claims, then why was he so constantly obsessed with politics and always talking down on Dems? Why not invest his energy in something he DID care about?

He ignored the question and deflected back to the dems. :mjlol:

"If y'all vote for her, the whole country gonna be like this shythole y'all call home" :mjlol:

His speeches are getting dumber and dumber by the day. The media need to give him the same treatment they gave Biden and hammer home how unfit he is mentally.
media is in the tank for trump. it’s doing its best to help him win.

This is the same man who started it all off with saying Mexicans are going to rape and kill you. Of course he’s racist.

A lot of Black Detroiters who moved to the A are the most levelheaded people I’ve met
