New nikkas is something else, it's like they living a real life Sims game waiting for the next fashion update from some nerdy white boy programmer :yeshrug: I'm from the toothbrush sole cleaning era and I'll keep my shyts clean so I'll let y'all cook
Yeah, but everybody got some beaters that they throw on that they ain't trying to tiptoe around in not trying to get dirty.

These joints are essentially the fashionable beater shoes that you supposed to get dirty. It's already people that rock dirty Vans and dusty ass white shoes already, he just embracing it.

I think they come clean but you're supposed to get them dirty as opposed to wearing them fashionably.

When you go on the page for each shoe they're clean.

I live 15 minutes away from the Nike campus.

I wish this sneakerhead hype beast movement would fukking die. So people would start investing in actual shyt instead of buying $500 shoes because someone in Japan said they’re cool.

The fashion industry is one of the major contributors to pollution and climate change. It’s a complete waste of resources. :snoop:

Pay $90 for worn out shoes :snoop: it’s like people who buy pre-ripped jeans; you can’t get any more bourgeois.

Haha, my nikka

I'm from the same era. And a nikka still does that shyt to this day. That grunge look will never be me I remember when getting an irreversible scuff on fresh kicks would have me thinking about that shyt for days...

"would could I have differently? Why did I take that route?" etc etc etc

Nah, you catch em retail and none of them are over $100. If the shoe was a EQT, Ultraboost etc. then it would be expensive.

The real caveat is whether its a GA or limited release and whether hypebeasts gonna cop it or not. If they do, those $80 Addidas X Donald Glover shoes are gonna turn into a $200 dollar shoe real quick.

These either gonna be like:
Pharrell's shoes(grails for some). :wow:
Kendrick's reeboks shoes. (sitting in outlets) :mjlol:

They probably gonna sell out though. These look like beaters that you can flex in.

I just copped some Nike Air Force 270 Utility for $98 breh.

$100 or anywhere near it for these is ridiculous, I wouldn't pay more than $30. They look like some shyt you'd find in a Thrift Store.

Fred.

Concept for them makes perfect sense. It's all about the character one's shoes develop overtime.

This shoe is for people that aren't tripping over getting their kicks dirty, I can see this doing really well with artists, painters, skaters and hipsters in general... the shoes lowkey are like a canvas, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a campaign lined up for people who cop these to share what they look like after they've been worn some. The creatives will be customizing these things for sure.

Just wait for it.

Pretty clever.

Are those type of people likely to pay that type of money for throw away shoes?

I don’t get the “pay a lot to look dusty” look. Wouldn’t it make sense to just go thrift shopping and just wear the dusty shyt from there?

I mean... I think I'm pretty good when it comes to "getting" stuff like this. I just saw this last night, and it pretty much is exactly what I posted in this thread on what direction they're going with these.
