Nah, you catch em retail and none of them are over $100. If the shoe was a EQT, Ultraboost etc. then it would be expensive.
The real caveat is whether its a GA or limited release and whether hypebeasts gonna cop it or not. If they do, those $80 Addidas X Donald Glover shoes are gonna turn into a $200 dollar shoe real quick.
These either gonna be like:
Pharrell's shoes(grails for some).
Kendrick's reeboks shoes. (sitting in outlets)
They probably gonna sell out though. These look like beaters that you can flex in.

Why buy these when they just look like cheap shytty shoes anyway? JUST because they’re from Childish? You could cop a pair for less than half the price and when you trash them it wouldn’t matter. I’m not into shoes so I don’t see the point of these.

The price point being the same as the base models are incentives people to purchase them, which is smart. If these were as expensive as yeezys they probably would collect dust since its lacking Boost, 4D or any other flagship tech from addidas.
It all comes down to supply and demand. If hypebeast treat these like grails to flex with then they will sell out quickly. If they are limited in stock then the resale will reflect that. That's how shoe culture works.
It could be a lot worse though. These shyts are balenciaga's attempt to make a "worn out" looking shoe.

Concept for them makes perfect sense. It's all about the character one's shoes develop overtime.
This shoe is for people that aren't tripping over getting their kicks dirty, I can see this doing really well with artists, painters, skaters and hipsters in general... the shoes lowkey are like a canvas, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a campaign lined up for people who cop these to share what they look like after they've been worn some. The creatives will be customizing these things for sure.
