I agree. Donald has moved pretty strategically in his career but this is a step back. This shyt is gonna be some mid no matter what. I guess he's doing it for the money.

Its not a wrap. They were filming back in March and had to shut down due to Coronavirus. When they pick back up seasons 3 & 4 will be filmed back to back.
I’m ASSUMING that season 4 will probably be the final season however
Step back. if this is done right, this lands you icon status and immortality. Filoni and Favreau are doing the shows and they are far better with realizing those story. Not to mention the rumors of Lucas taking over. Might be a great move, make some bread, take a chance. Starring in start wars series is a step back if you're Tom Hanks or the rock. Hell if you're the rock you have to look at a Black Adam series on HBO Max given where the world is. May never see movie theaters ever the way the were. Either way, it's
One could argue it would be the biggest move of his career. Same role as his biggest career move, but more viewers and without the hate Solo came in with. The future is streaming. Might want to establish himself as a bug player in that industry. I wouldn't assume feature films will ever be the same.
will watch... but overrated performance that everyone clung to simply because A. it was far and away the most promising casting to come out of this movie and we all went into wanting to love it. B. We all like Donald Glover. C. We remember liking Lando. D. Solo is one of the most forgettible movies of our lifetimes, so we needed something to hype up.

Also on your second point. A Lando series done with the same care of The Mandalorian could be incredible. Especially if Donald is negotiating to have some form of writing/directing/producing credit, which he is MORE than qualified to be granted. He’s already an A-list mutli-hyphenate but if he can knock out a classic Star Wars series? Dude would be immortal.
