I hope Don comes back and shyts on those 2 ungrateful birds. Everyone was nervous as hell when Don came back. It was fukked up they let him dangle out there all day, and they hoping he would reject the trap laden contract. Don is changin, and tryin to be real with himself, atleast to a certain extent. Dude passing on ho's, drinkin less. :dwillhuh: The Hard on Hos movement is about to be on.

best scene was when Roger laid out homie trying call for Don's job, that was epic ethering by Roger standing up for his homie Don. he needs to invite Don over for to bang out his bish and join him for one of his orgy-lsd-trips :smugdraper:

I guess you didn't see the thread at the top of the forum that's been there since before the season even started?

They think that they've put him into a corner by making these shytty stipulations for him but they forget, Draper practically MADE this organization.

All the ideas, the vision, the ads that made clients go :ohhh:

That was The Don. And it shows. Dudes convinced themselves that they did'nt want awards so it does'nt matter...but it DOES matter because no one gives a fukk about SCDP because the ads blow dikk. Draper was probably keeping them afloat by tunneling ideas through Freddy.

I have a feeling that Don is gonna sit back and watch this silly fukk Avery try to pump out shyt ideas til they're BEGGING for his input. Rogers knows this, that's probably why he wanted Don back. He was being very honest there in that convo. He let Don take some time to clear his head, get his shyt together and now it more or less is. He's gonna get his swag back and take his rightful place at the top of this company.

:pacspit: @ Peggy

You owe The Don FOREVER you trollop!!! Don't ever forget it!

Indeed. The key to understanding that scene is where Roger points out that if they force him out they'll also lose the non-compete clause. That shows that, even as fukked up as he's become, they still fear him. When they considered only the financial aspect of having to buy him out they were still willing to do it. But when Roger pointed out that they would have to go toe to toe with him 'in the room' they were like :whoa:

I think it was a professionally dumb decision. I woulda walked and crushed them.

Don has something to prove though I guess, and it needed to be done to advance the story.

In real life, a star like Don has all the control and woulda went somewhere else and murdered them.

They are hoping he messes up so they can fire him without paying out. Dude is up to something though, he will find a way around this. Joan needs to be checked! She forgot Don was the only one against her sleeping with dude to get his business.

He already messed up....they can't fire him cuz that'll get him out of that non compete clause. They're trying to drive him to quit, cuz if he did that he couldn't work for any of their competitors.

He did the right thing. Smile in their faces, work your way back up. They won't want to keep Lou around paying his, likely, substantial salary just to spite you when you show you're still the best in the business.

Only Joan and Cutler are staunchly against his return. Cutler's clearly trying to seize control of the company, Joan's just being spiteful.

Joan didn't get screwed over, she got her feelings hurt. She now works for (and is a partner at) a more powerful company. Chevy>>> Jaguar. I understand her annoyance with how he didn't check with her or the other partners (that was poor communications on both sides, cuz no one told Don or Ron about their plans to go public) before merging the companies or dumping Jaguar....but that ship has sailed. No need to act like a c*nt til the end of days.

kind off topic, but what the fukk was Peggy so salty for? did she really forget where she came from? i understand what's happened between them over the course of the series, but if it wasn't for Don she might have been his secretary for a lot longer.
he helped her get promoted
He gave her a boatload of work and, even tho this might not have been don's goal, it made her a better copywriter in the long run. (even prepared her for promotion to copy chief)
She went from being a mousy typist to a confident leader and Don was the first person to have faith in her. Yes pete had a hand in that but it was mostly D. Whitman.

But she can't let that meagan shyt go and she thinks too much of Don rubbed off on Ted, thus being the reason Ted dropped her like a bad habit (don tossed ladies like cigarettes :smugdraper:)
Do like the song say, LET IT GOOOOOOOO
