I doubt he'd go for it but I wonder if there's any way they can talk Monk into taking another cheap deal so they can pay him big money in two years when all the contracts come off the books. Would be a long shot but the Lakers have established they're willing to pay their own (except Caruso :snoop:)

The other teams gonna toss monk the damn bag!!!if he stays it will be a miracle

But there is one more person thats coming back and he will be a monster on this team

K. Nunn ....Im telling you will kill MF's :hubie:

It was a strong sermon this evening. The spirit so strong they was preaching the good Laker word on jummah baptizing infidels with the fury of several Salah al-Din’s

Pastor Horton Tucker was on one :wow:

I tried to tell yall...Once LA got their role players back they would start winning games. All we need now is a healthy AD and to make 1 good trade...Trust me...none of the teams in the West wants to see us in the playoffs.

Kudos to Monk, THT, Bradley, and Melo for putting in work tonight. They carried the Lakers until Lebron took over in the 4th...Big ups to Lebron for closing the game strong... Lebron continues to be solid at the FT line...He was 5 for 5 tonight. He's now shooting 78% for the season which matches his career-high.

And for all the people clowning Westbrook, he was a +22 tonight.
Need another wing, another center (Dwight gets hurt you're left with DJ) and AD to play like a top 5 player again.

Gotta flip Nunn for a legit small forward cause Ariza cant be the only 3 and D guy on the bench with size.
the ultra small lineups benefit russ more than anything. bron will be efficient in any alignment or starting position.
before the bubble russ was playing the most efficient ball of his career without a traditional big on the court at all for houston. a lot of his skills overlap with lebron so he wont see the high point totals he had, but with the lineups like this you'll see way more good than bad out of him....especially at this point of the season where he ratchets it up seemingly every year
AD hoe ass better be getting cardio and losing weight. that being the last one up the court on offense shyt wont work if they wanna compete vs contenders
Hope he taking spot up jumpers too :mjlol:
You know its a shame to say "AD gotta be a spot up shooter" but damn he's made it where he's gotta be the one to adjust now.

The team was supposed to go through him. But the Lakers gotta play as if they cant count on him:snoop:

See if Nunn was actually available and balled I'd be tempted to be on the "Trade Monk to get value wave"

However, Im not counting on a nikka who misses more time than AD :heh:

Do you think they are keeping THT?

As everyone is finding out, it wasn't the players or the defense that needed an adjustment.

The only thing that changed was the roles of the players. With Bron at the 5, the Lakers get the most out of each player and allows Westbrook to be himself.

Westbrook was a +22 today against a decent hawks team despite not shooting well.

His presence again allowing Monk to thrive as the efficient 3rd scorer.

Idk breh. We gotta se how things work against tougher comp.

He actually has value if Bron plays off the ball and spams pick and roll plays. He's the only other guard I trust to consistently make those passes outside of Russ.

The issue is we really need either more size to defend( 6'7" to 6'9" guys) or a guy that can really shoot as well.

Its why they should have signed Rudy Gay over Nunn if they were gonna keept THT as well.
