Westbrook is awful. At this point stagger him and Bron's minutes and don't play him with Rondo. Just let him do his thing with AD and shooters. And AD gotta play the 5 with Westbrook. It seems the only one that has made changes to his game to accommodate others is Lebron who decided to play more off the ball and take more jump shots (so the lane is less crowded for Westbrook and AD).

Btw each year I've watched more and more basketball so I think (ha) my knowledge is getting pretty good.
The Lakers offense sucks. As in the design. It is the most predictable in terms of all the good teams. I know they are working on it, but the half court design is tragic. It is simply trying to run a set, if it doesn't work, then with about 10 seconds of the shot clock left - iso Bron or AD in the post and get them to create or shoot. When Russ doesn't have the ball, he is being told to be in the corner.
Where are the high screen and rolls? The cuts? The Russ being used as a screener? All those things are perfect for these players and basics, not even intrinsic designs to get shots. What is Vogel's actual plan?

Our defense with the starters is much better than I originally thought it would be but still early days. Majority of the breakdowns were poor communication.
Deandre looks like he's barely getting of the ground when he goes for rebounds.

Russ needs to stop with this one handed pass he's not that good a passer and causes the shooter to catch it at an awkward angle

You dudes with this dumb ass narrative need to stop. So the ring was easy because no fans and no road travel? So everybody just voted to let the Lakers win? Playing during the height of a pandemic was easy plus the social injustice shyt? Being locked away from your family for months was easy? Working hard during the regular season for home Court, just to have it taken from you and start every team on a neutral playing feild was easy? Being covid tested every day was easy? fukking Paul George said out his own mouth how depressed he was and mentally checked out he was along with others, so that was easy to I guess. That narrative is stupid as fukk. If anything that ring was one of hardest due to how much mental adversity that had to be overcome due to the critical state the fukking world was in.
