In fact, there was a deal agreed upon with the Kings(per Kuzma and Ramona) which is why Sac will never fukk with us again because they nixed it last second. Fit matters. Buddy never played on a team with a guy like Lebron or AD who require a lot of attention. We struggled heavily with shooting and Buddy would have helped with that. Also the move can't be looked at in a vacuum, GENIUS. By acquiring Russ instead of Buddy, we lost ASSETS that could have been used in other trades. We could have kept KCP who was great for our defense, kept Caruso as well. This is coming from someone who wanted Russ too but then again I'm not the GM. Russ filled a need but evidently it wasn't a great fit.

And for those saying Russ is leaving this season, nothing is indicating that he's gone. If anything, there's been more indication that he's staying. Maybe Darvin Ham can help but I'm skeptical. Either way, I'm not down with giving up more assets to trade away, just keep him at this point and let him expire.

The first part of this is the first time I've agreed with something you've said-- fit matters. This is true.

But the second part is sketchy. A favorite talking point of you people is that players like this don't get to shine with Bron. The point is moot anyway, because Brook didn't even get to play with Bron and AD, as they were both hurt during significant stretches of the season. So Hield would have made zero difference anyway.

Besides, this wasn't what I was asking you. I wasn't even talking about this season-- I asked you when has Pelinka shown he's a capable GM? He's been the GM since 2017 my dude, 2022 is his 5th year.

This season was not a good look.

But I think Davis has a monster year next season, and if Bron still ballin, LAL is a tough out in the playoffs.

I also want Melo and Dwight to return. New coach will utilize them properly. This nikka Vogel just decided Dwight not gonna play while we getting cooked on the boards, and this nikka Bron struggling with Centers like KAT.
