went to dr like 10 years ago punta cana and had a blast. It's affordable the resorts are massive nice chill vibe.

Cuba has better beaches and is most safer off resort and more to do but DR is still cool

Any recommendations for Cuba?

Planning on going this year alone.

Its not the best for resorts..beaches are not the best..many other island beaches are much better..even mexican beaches are far better..if you are going for that

Not the best..even outside the resorts thr food isnt the best in DR..i am always there for business...thry can cook a good rice and beans though...i dont really mess with pork and stuff so dont know how it is..but even the seafood is not all that

Go to abuela bro she makes the best oxtail.

Ever had a paella?

They also have good Italian/Chinese food.

I guess im biased.

But you need to go to the south it's beautiful
