I really wanted to like it. I think the beats are solid. I think Dom has flashes here and there. But the flow and overall delivery (voice, etc) still feel off. I don't know if it's a matter of vocal production, or maybe they are recording fast and doing one take. I don't know if Dom is going through some personal or medical shyt. Or maybe it's just his new style and it's not for me...I'm not saying he should redo his old albums or anything like that. I'm all for growth. But something feels off.

I'm a fan of his music and at the end of the day, we are not entitled to tell him how to make his music. It's his expression and we either fukk with it or we don't. He already gave so much to the game, he doesn't owe us anything. I just wish we could get an explanation. Doesn't even need to be an indepth explanation cause that's his business. It would just be cool to know if it's a conscious thing to where that's how he wants it to sound, or if it's something technical (maybe they are sending files back and forth and piecing vocals together, and it's messing up the flows a little?) or maybe he's going through some shyt that is none of our business.
Cause sometimes he comes correct (double up feature, also each album has flashes of Greatness) so we know he still has it in him. No disrespect is intended from this post.

EDIT:i will add the moments he's on, he really seems on, on this one.

I watched a video a while back when he said he got on to rap to own his own label. A few years back he said his focus was going to be on OPM shyt mainly.

I listened ahain and i think i was a little too harsh. It's hit or miss for me but i respect it

Also i went back and listened to older projects and listened again to this one and i think some of the flow issues have to do with the tempos. I think his older songs were slower and he sounded dope as fukk because of his style. Even Double Up is a slower smooth beat where he's shinning. Maybe that's what it is...

Either way, I'm gonna keep bumping this one and wait for the next one
