Dont care how you feel about him (most of them are MAGA so dont pick and choose) Ziggler was one of the most charismatic/talented wrestlers they had there for years and they never did anything with him. He could have been this generations Y2J and the ruined it

in particular the build for and match at No Mercy 2016 vs The Miz with the retirement angle. that was one of the best matches (a match that should have gone on last that night) of 2016 and the crowd was completely behind Ziggler.

and what did creative do with it? ended it 37 days later on a random episode of Smackdown.

For real? That’s almost as bad as the way they wasted his heat from survivor series 2014 :snoop:
I give them a slight pass for this because it was right when Miz was getting hot and doing the best heel work of his career, so in the long run, they may have made the right decision.

that's just two of MANY examples were they dropped the ball on him.

another one (and most recently) was when he won the U.S. Title in surprising fashion at Clash of Champions 2017 and in even more surprising fashion vacated the title 2 days later with the whole "fukk WWE and the fans" gimmick.

he then disappears for 5 weeks and returns at #30 in the Royal Rumble with the crowd like :ohhh:only to be eliminated within 2 minutes :scust:

I'm mot a Dolph fan but I can admit he's had opportunities to really shine snatched from him. Then again, he's not alone in that. I feel like when it comes to guys like Cesaro or Rusev or Dolph or whoever it is that gets over but doesn't really get utilized properly or rewarded for it, Wade Barrett broke it down for us in his SportBible interview.

"They [WWE] misuse a lot of guys, there’s a lot of guys you could do more with but at the end of the day they pick the guys they want to go with and go with them."

Translation: They just don't see it for Dolph. He's been around long enough that if they were gonna change their mind on him, they would have. Fair or not, he's where they think he belongs.

After what Daniel Bryan said, it's pretty clear that if you don't have Brock/Cena/HHH level pull, creative really ain't trying to hear nothing from you.

Dolph has been given every opportunity & he flopped.

I haven't forgotten about him being a flop when they brought back the brand split & him & Ambrose went 50/50 on a crappy ass fued & a subpar match at summer slam for the title.

Some of these wrestlers been given hella opportunities only to fall short cuz they can't stay healthy or they don't have the juice.

"having guys like Shawn Michaels tell me how awesome I was."

I don't care if that's true or not, the fact that he actually came out and said that makes Dolph look corny af :mjlol:
It's very funny because they are both utter non draws...big dummy took that compliment like it mattered. Shawn Michael's is the last person who a compliment should matter from..his job was to have a good match while the real stars drew money.
