I think the gimmick is just bad. Wrestling is about entertainment, and his whole gimmick now is '0 entertainment just wrasslin' which is ironic since thats what the rest of the show is anyway. Now you just make it even more apparent by making your entrance even more boring. At least the Usos grab mics and talk shyt when they come down the ramp, with Dolph his music cuts out and he walks quietly to the ring to wrestle. Who cares. Theres a reason why people are gravitating towards the Usos and even Rusev and English and it has nothing to do with match quality.

Daniel Bryan had the WORSE treatment you could think of and dude bounced back and still getting love, despite his current position. The thing with Ziggler is the fact that he doesn't hide his true shortcomings, but rather expose them to a tee. Dude was on fire during SS14, but afterwards...nothing. The worst reaction you can get as a wrestler is no reaction at all. Hell Elsworth took yuge L's but breh still was GOAT status in the eyes of the fans because he got a reaction out of them. Ziggler could piss on the crowd and they would Ye shrug
