There is another thing Spence needs to work on before he gets to the next level, and I think it illustrates how his team is failing him. His haircut tonight was awful. Whomever cosigned that cut needs to be let go. I thought Ward's cut was horrific, but that atrocity on Spence's head takes the gold. Thats another problem with this current generation of young folks. Horrific cuts. Whatever happened to a simple fade? Taper? Covatis?

Spence looked great. Not much to be said really. He still gotta pass the chin test, but other than that, he's on his way.

I think his defense is pretty solid. It's similar to GGG (when he's not playing around) in a sense that for a guy that comes forward and puts hands on you, he doesn't get hit as much as you think he would. He covers up pretty well while advancing.

He's already the best body puncher at 147 imo & he has great variations on the punches he throws...not to mention every punch he lands looks like it saps from your health bar like a video game


KOd 2 guys who have never been KOd in back to back fights = His power is real


I'm not going to say he's unstoppable, but I will say he's gonna be tough for any of the top 147 fighters to deal with. No one is a clear favorite over him right now imo.

I just rewatched the broner maidana fight and Marcos was a beast

Maidana would get KO'd in six rounds, he is weak to the body

thurman would've beat Maidana if he didn't take the fight with floyd.

He out muscled a smaller broner and smothered an old floyd

He couldn't stop Broner, so his power wouldn't bother spence, he would just mow him down, broner wants his rematch with maidana, the bass comes out of his voice whenever spence's name is brought up
