I thought so too, op...until I got into reptile life.
Reptiles >>>>>. These nikkas are low maintenance as hell. Will literally chill all day and only need to be fed like once a week. A few hours of taking them out their cage and letting them get some work in, and they're good.

Depends on how you care for it's cohabitation. My dog ain't on no leash, sleeps in the house, gets cooked food and apart from hugs and tummy scratches, we don't do the face lick routine and he knows this.
Save that energy for people who buy dogs to put in purses or keep them chained outside and barely fed while conditioning then to be volatile creatures.
