But tons of people cashed out when Doge hit .5 a couple of weeks ago. There weren’t any problems then, so I can’t imagine there being any issues when it hits $1. Plus, DOGE is long term. This isn’t a squeeze. So, when it hits $1, you can comfortably hold with the knowledge that it is still going to go up.

And there was tons of people who didn't get to cash out when it hit .45 because robinhood basically shut down crypto.

The GME fiasco exposed that robinhood is not equipped financially to handle rapid rise and mass cash out. Crypto is already labeled as EXTREMELY volatile and right now DOGE is the most volatile. It literally jumps 500 - 600 percent in an hour every other day. If one person with 1 million dollars to spare like Elon Musk bought in a 1 cent and it hit a dollar over the course of an hour and he tried to cash out robinhood would have to shut all the way down. My homeboy tried to cash out his DOGE at 77k and had problems. Robinhood finally let it go through at 68k. I guarantee that there's going to be cash out problems.

Off topic, but the older I get, the more I realize that a million is not what it used to be.

When this movie came out the avg (good) house cost 200k and college only ran you 20-40k. Nowadays, a (good) house will run you 400k. Tuition is 50k for basic degrees and 100k+ for good ones. :francis:

$0...:ld: :manny: I invested in other things...:sas2:
Exactly. Something that can depreciate by 30% in a week is not investing.

I suppose what keeps me calm at the thought of that occurring is knowing that doge is here to stay and will stabilize around $1 after the initial blitz to cash out. It won’t plummet the way GME did.

I’m going to cash this out at around .8 to avoid the withdrawal rush at $1. I’ll buy back when it dips some.
