I know this is an extreme case scenario, but would you feel any kind of way if a there was a dude going around stealing people's pets torturing and killing them? Assuming it was widely known and on the news.

I would be concerned because i know that would be indicative of an escalating behavior.......that he has bigger targets on his radar and is using animals as practice.
