Triple H finding a way to lose the title, but not lose it in a one on one straight up match.

1. Leading into WrestleMania 25, Randy Orton was probably the most over he's ever been. Him punting Vince, DDTing Steph and kissing her while Trips was handcuffed had him with all this heat. And really it should've lead him to a title win at 'Mania. But that didn't happen. Triple H won at WrestleMania and then dropped the title to Orton at the next PPV... in a six man tag team match :dead: Orton's momentum was gone.

2. Jeff Hardy is the most over person in the company late 2008. He's really the only contender out there for Triple H to face. Triple H is also a face at this point. Jeff gets a title shot first at the Championship Scramble match with Shelton, Kendrick, and MVP. Triple H wins that, but Jeff still is the most over. So Jeff gets a title shot next PPV. Triple H wins the match. Jeff gets even more over though. Another PPV, and another match between Triple H and Jeff. Triple H wins, and Jeff gets even more over because the fans believe he's getting so close to actually winning the damn thing. Next PPV, it's a Triple Threat with Triple H, Kozlov and Jeff... but Jeff is attacked and Edge shows up instead to replace him and wins the title... after Jeff comes back and accidentally hits Triple H with a chair. Then the next PPV, Jeff, Edge, and Triple H have a triple threat match for the title and Jeff finally wins the title by pinning Edge. It just seemed like a convoluted way to give the title to Jeff without Triple H losing it directly to Jeff :pachaha:

And even in non-title, but major matches, Trips can sneak in the big win of the feud without winning the feud. Like his feud with Lesnar. Lesnar won the final match, but Trips won the match at WrestleMania with a million people watching :heh:

93 million miles above these devils
Punk being mega over after the Pipebomb & even defeated Cena for the WWE Championship... only for HHH deciding that he needed a win over him for some reason

and for added fukkery

The fukked up thing is that they tried to book HHH as the babyface. They had Punk talking shyt and goading HHH into a fight and then Punk lost... cleanly. That shyt was so stupid. They turned the hottest guy on the roster into a dude who talks shyt and can't back it up :snoop:

All of this shyt was egregious. HHH beating Brock was a waste of Lesnar. That Hardy shyt just made for terrible TV when all he had to do was put Jeff over. You can't have a guy who's that hot and not give them the ball.

A side note, MVP didn't get a pin in that match but Brian Kendrick did but at the same time Kendrick got pinned 4 times twice but Hunter and Jeff :russ:

And speaking of Jeff, I remember when he beat Triple H for the Intercontinental title back in 2001 needed Matt Hardy to help him, Triple H no-sold the finisher after he lost and then won it back a few days later on RAW

Was treated like fodder for the Two Man Power Trip/Brothers Of Destruction feud don't think he even got a rematch :dead:the Intercontinental title back in the day didn't even matter just like how it doesn't really matter now. :heh:
