Doesn't it seem like Kel should be on SNL

I never knew they auditioned together. Now that I know that, they were NEVER going to get on together no matter how good their auditions were. It would have been one or the other, IMO... unless the other demonstrated some strong writing chops and could have been brought on behind the scenes like how Andy Samberg pulled his boys from Lonely Island on with him.

Lorne Michaels wasn't going to have two very recognizable people from a very recognizable kids sketch show come on SNL at the same time. Would have detracted from the rest of the cast and the pedigree of the show.

I always thought Kel's style was too far out there, and that is why Keenan seems to have found more success,even though Kel was always more popular.

But then again SNL would have Will Ferrell over the top,overrated ass back on the show in a heartbeat...:beli:

I think Kel is too hood for SNL.

I liked Kel and Kenan, both are funny on their own ways....Kinda like Outkast: Kel = Big Boi, Kenan = Andree 3000 then later on Andree 3000 switched up his style with The Love Below. When the album Speakerboxxx vs The Love Below came out and everybody was surprised and disappointed with Dre's The Love Below, they loved Speakerboxxx until the more they listen to it and they realzied Andree 3000 does have skills and The Love Below grew on them. Big Boi bascially stay the same, Andree 3000 just grew became the truly musican so Dre decided don't want to do Outkast with Big Boi so he wanna do on his own, wanna be succesful on his own, to make his $$$ on his own, do the hollywood movie, etc while Big Boi staying with the hood stuff, keep it real, etc. Kel and Kenan similar to Outkast situation.

So I can see why SNL picked Kenan over Kel because they saw they on All That and Kel & Kenan Show.
