Coast do not promote anything, what you mean to ask is do people on the west coast receive conscientious artists in the promotion of them better than their East Coast counterparts
They've been riding with Dot for 15yrs. Through all of his experemental shyt. And then you got the newish artist getting play too.

as much as i love Kris Parker, i could never accept the fact that a grown ass man interpolated "row, row, row your boat" as a hook

BDP has quite a few clunkers in their catalog, even on their classics. it is what it is though, i still love all those records anyway lol :salute:

:snoop:

KRS always thought outside the box..

He made a gospel rap album

I’m speaking moreso Nowdays. The westcoast feels more eclectic with who they’re pushing to represent them. Compared to NYC and the east which seems to be all about drill. Although Lil Uzi is pretty eclectic.
U got cats in the Bay Area making trap music now…

Most of the conscious shyt over West is in the underground.

Over here in the East, I knew when Chief Keef released Back To The Dead and Almighty So that NY rap was officially dead with the younger generation.

NY Drill is dominating and we need that energy back in Hip Hop.

These days, everyone is jocking each other.

We have more killers being rappers in this era.

That’s the album that I was talking about too…

I was bumping that this morning while rolling up.
ill check it out. im agnostic but open minded about god. might be an interesting listen :patrice:

i will be honest and say that i avoid religious music. not BECAUSE its religious, but because a lot of those artists dont bother trying. :francis:

on the other hand, Stevie Wonder and Nick Cave sing about god all the time, and nobody is calling them "christian rock"
