Maybe he was feeling depressed and wanted to kill himself. Maybe it was driving himself to that. But he had to off his family as well? In such a PLANNED way I would add.

He didn't snap and do this, it was cold and calculated. So your telling me he was within his right mind to wrestle in front of 10,000 people but couldn't tell the difference between killing his family?

I don't know. He was what 40 I don't know how long it takes people with brain damage like his for symptoms to show. I think it was a combination of shyt that led Benoit to do what he ultimately did. We'll never really know why.

Damn, when you put it into perspective like this, it really makes me think differently now. Doesn't change the fact that no matter you slice it, Benoit needed help and he didn't get it. People are angry he took down his son and wife...that's cool. But the legitimate reasons why is always gonna be in the air until someone can read his mind and figure it out. Beniot=Monster is the easy uncomplicated answer for those with a lack of intelligence into delving into why. I'm not surprised nor have I ever been surprised by such a go to attitude from lesser minds. It's to be expected.

I don't think anybody is doubting the fact that he was sick and needed help, that's pretty obvious, what gets me, is the way in which he went about it and that's what makes me say fukk him. nikka took 3 WHOLE DAYS to kill himself and his family and he had the presence of mind to call and swerve WWE officials because he knew they would be concerned about his whereabouts....just FOUL shyt all the way around on every level.

We know that Benoit was sick, but i wonder how long had he been in that state? was it months? years? or was it the totality of all the years of punishment on the brain that just set him off randomly all at once, or was there something in particular in his life that happened in the days leading up to the murders that triggered him? We will never know, and what's sad is that he had to be used as the example in order for the whole drug testing ordeal to come into place, when that should have been the standard for all wrestlers already. And did WWE see any signs in his behavior that would make them think something was wrong?we need answers to all this shyt. some sort of tell-all from those around him in his final months needs to be released, there are people who know SOMETHING who aren't talking. I remember reading somewhere that one of Bret's brothers said they were not surprised when they heard of the murder suicide because Benoit was a maniac or some shyt, i'll post it if i can find it.

"The last time I saw him he was in pretty rough shape mentally", said Bruce Hart. He also said "I didn't know all the details, but I knew it wasn't good. I was not at all shocked [by what happened]." "I've known too many wrestlers who couldn't separate the character they play on television from their real life," said Hart, who has wrestled professionally, promoted wrestling and trained wrestlers all his life. "Wrestlers start believing their press clippings and what is said on television. It's like an actor leaving the set, but still playing the part. There's a delusional element to this. I've seen it over and over again. Some people can't separate the character from real life, and Chris was one of those people." Hart was also deeply angered that World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) aired a three-hour tribute to Benoit on Monday Night Raw before they learned Benoit had been responsible for the deaths of his family. The book Ring of Hell stated that Bruce was always abusive towards and jealous of Benoit during his days training in the Hart Family Dungeon

Who is Bruce Hart though? Austin/Bret/Jericho and a million made guys c/s this guy on at least 5 levels. If he was mad nutcase juicer, why would a guy like Jericho cover that up and defend him in any capacity?

Yea, there has been a million guys who came forth and c/s Benoit on a personal level and on a professional level, then you have a guy like Bruce who probably knew Benoit well come out and say something like this. That's what makes the whole situation uneven. Jericho did mention how quiet of a guy he was and maybe he bottled up a lot inside and just exploded. It does makes you wonder. Something just tells me that there are people within Benoit's circle that know SOMETHING.

You don't know for a fact that Benoit "needed help." I mean he could have, or maybe he couldn't have. I am not a doctor, I am just looking at the facts.

He was in within his right mind as the evidence of WRESTLING IN FRONT OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE, GETTING FOOD ON THE ROAD, FINDING HOTELS, TRAVELING FROM TOWN TO TOWN, ETC...

This guy CALLED the WWE and told them he couldn't make the PPV due to a family problem. Yea the family problem was he was going to kill all of them.
