It's about being on a side of a team and how their worldview . Actually looking in to the science of any of this would cause them to have to re-evaluate a lot more of their beliefs than just 9/11

This video actually does a great job proving that the steel trusses that supported the floors could not have pulled the external structure or the core structure to the point where it would bend inwards, whether they were weakened by the fire or not.
