I think people are missing the point that the American they grew up with is gone, and has been gone for a while. The comments saying that there are problems in every country are true, but depending on your personal background things may look scarier in the US right now for you than for them.
I suggest you do your best to get a good education, look into what professions are needed in other countries you might be interested in living in and put your focus there, get your passport ASAP, and visit any country you are considering moving to before making a commitment to leave permanently. I have a sibling who moved away from the US to raise her family and she's indicated that they are never moving back home.
In the meantime, you will be eligible to vote soon. Use that privilege, encourage your friends to vote, and get active and informed about local politics because a lot of this current disaster started with grassroots efforts in local school boards and city council meetings.
