That receiving yards record don't mean shyt to me IMO. Rules changes make the shyt too easy. Rice didn't even care.... But he did care about moss breaking his td record.

Most of those yards didn't contribute to nothing. What Peterson is doing is more significant because he's scoring td's to back up the yards.

he has 11 touchdowns... which really is the equivalent to half that for a WR... you have to realize that 11 touchdowns is not an accomplishment in the nfl... he's in a clusterfukk with about 8 other dudes who have 10-11 tds....ive got to believe you dont watch sports like that if you say some shet like this.

Andre Johnson has never had double digit td's in his entire career. And he has been one of the best WR's of the last decade

Cecil Shorts has 7 TD's. Jags might be the worst team in the league. He has Chad fukking Henne throwing to him.

Scott Chandler, a TE.. has seven on the Bills

Kyle Rudolph has eight with Ponder out there

Sidney Rice AND Golden Tate both have seven. Wilson is having a great rookie year but he's yet to top 3,000 yards passing.

Darren Sproles.. at running back has six.

bottom line... Megatron is the best receiver in football but he needs to get into the end zone whether it's down field or YAC.

People like to compare Megatron to Moss. The only year Moss had five or less in his prime was in 2006 where he missed five games.

On the Raiders which everyone can agree was a terrible situation, he still had eight TD's in 2005.

why did you even bring up sproles ? RBs are supposed to get TDs, even tho its not as evident in todays NFL when you have like 3 different backs for different occasions.

he had 16 tds last year when offense was doing well and stafford was doing better.

tds are volatile, man. kyle rudolph wont get 8 tds next year, doubt it very much. andre johnson never had great TD totals and he prolly wont until foster is out of there and they become a pass-oriented team again.

All you need to do is watch the Lions game last night to see why he doesn't have as many TD's. They don't throw him the ball in the redzone. They were on the goal line last night and didn't even pretend like they were going to get him the ball.

Jerry got tons of red zone throws so did Randy so did TO. Andre Johnson and Megatron don't get them as much because they have a viable running option OR the offensive coordinator is being cute. Randy and TO at least got deep balls as well. The Lions had Megatron in the slot running into the safeties all game.

I can't diminish what megatron is doing at all. Jerry Rice is my all time favorite receiver ever but let's not act like any receiver can do what c.j. did. If so then we would have at least seen someone other than jesus rice do it. Also imo it's actually more impressive that he's on a shyt team because he is their prime focus and still can't stop him. That's the main reason he doesnt have more td's. He's making catches despite double and triple coverage, so as soon as he gets the ball he's fighting.
