Probably about 10 years I stop caring or feeling any excitement for Xmas

At 27 years old, Christmas doesn't mean much to me anymore, however, I still go out shopping for gifts, and will proudly accept some in return.

I got kids so it definitely feels like Christmas time. People in our area(including us) started putting up lights on Black Friday. We been driving around every few days just to look at lights. Watching all the Christmas movies and Christmas episodes. We got a Christmas radio station too. About to watch Friday after next today.

I feel ya OP I was just telling my wife the same thing this morning. Our kids are in college and I was reminiscing on how we would been in a rush in Christmas Eve hiding and wrapping gifts. On top of that it’s supposed to be 75 degrees here tomorrow. It seems everyday it’s bad news. A couple of days ago I worked a wreck where a guy was ejected from the vehicle and the vehicle was on top of him. Yesterday got a call that my homeboy’s mother died. It’s crazy. But in it all we have to be thankful we still here.
I felt the holiday spirit up until last night when I found out something. Now I don’t give a damn no more.
