New Yawk where I’m from / Bahston where I’m at
Nike flooded the market with too many releases of Js almost like any regular release is the new Jumpman. Rn people looking for anything but Nike, sambas had a moment last year, new balance and asics both with big collabs and people wearing the regular ones too.

Why should they give a fyck about Jordans. :manny: The only thing brand loyalty did was cost money over the years while to quality gone to shyt.
I mean Chuck’s are still going strong and they’ve been around way longer. I have plenty pairs of the updated chucks and they’re dope. You’d think the younger kids would be wearing LeBron’s or something else but them shoes are polluting Nike stores all over America.

Memory of MJ is fading a bit. That's why every few years when they run the poll of the goat his % drops. Gen Z weren't born and were too young for even wizards MJ. They tried to emulate millennials early 2010s and maybe a bit post last dance but it's over. I'm not sure when alpha and beta will rock Js.

Gen Z is off Nike in general rn

Air Force 1s and Jordan 1s are what they are rocking with and that’s it.

And they are currently moving away from those too.

Nike need to do some soul searching they looking played out to the youth which was their bread and butter

man im corny as hell (and apparently im a cac now) but id rock a pair of super hi-top jordans. im just kinda wary, the last couple of pairs of nikes i bought died within six months. i dont play ball or anything so this is just regular old wear and tear. theyre built sorry as hell. same thing happened when nike bought converse like 20 years ago. all stars used to last me a grade or two as a kid and im lucky if i get four months out of a pair now. sorry ass shoes. :camby:

The current stars shoes are ass and not selling it seems. That might be a bigger problem than worrying about Jordan’s lol. The fact that people are jumping out here to say Jordan’s are dead in 2024(which they are not) is crazy in itself. I got a pair of Zions which are meh… I tried to find a good pair of Tatums to wear but I hate them all. Luka’s shoes are trash. Ja’s are nice but not worth paying a ton for. I think Nike is fine but they’re not out :yeshrug:
