Neck fusion surgery could easily alter this in a number of two ways. He could have issues generating ample dopamine. Plus the spine sheds every seven years. That we do not know in the spine's molting process. If edge was able to workout.
to re-strengthen his spinal cord during molting as well.

The reason i feel people start to age poorly at twenty eight is. They have not done anything physical to build actual lean muscle and cardio dispersion of ample nutrients to the spinal cord area after molting takes place. I also believe people should pay attention distinctfully. to their spines molting age. Plus do sumfin at least periodically based.
In that every seven years period.
to rebuild what was lost.
in the spinal molting that occurs every seven years.

Night 2 is trash outside of the main

Not really, Asuka vs Ripley, Zayn vs Owens (could be disappointing if Sami is just playing the chicken-shyt heel and barely wrestle), Big E vs Crews. Probably a spotfest for the Smackdown Tag Belts, maybe a ladder match.
That card doesn't look bad at all, maybe apart from the main event it's doesnt seem that "impactful" or big but the matches will be great.
And you can count on Orton and The Fiend to bring some good old fukkery.

His gimmick is a chicken-shyt conspirationist heel. He had a match at WM last year against D-Bry which basically consisted of him running away from Bryan the whole time, he's been booked like that for more than a year.

Their match at Battleground or whatever is a rare main roster classic. Just let Sami do his work and it should be heat but I think he's been neutered a lot post injury. He has one of the all time great movesets

He’s there for these 3 reasons:

1. To help make Mania “feel” like mania.

The crowd will be there for the first time in over a year. Whats a better idea to show that, than to have the most over guy in the company work the main event? The sea of “YES!” Chants at this mania will be amazing.

2. Edge v Roman doesnt move the needle enough

I gave a plus about the fans being there, here’s a negative. The E cannot manipulate the crowd noise like they’ve been doing all year, and we have no idea how Roman and Edge will be perceived with a Mark Mania crowd.

Without Bryan, this would’ve been a boring match with a heel Roman mania fans would cheer, and a face they’d likely boo/be indifferent to in Edge. DB gives the crowd a overall good guy to put their faith in, especially after the finish of fastlane.

3. DB is a big match master

Dude can get a 5 star match out of a body pillow, and he works well with Roman (we seen this at fastlane), and edge v Bryan is a dream match for some. The man puts asses in seats

Genes could be a part of it, but I've found that middle aged people who drop a lot of fat and/or water weight tend to look quite a bit older after the fact. Compare how Edge looked in retirement to how he looked at the Rumble or WrestleMania last year, his face looks much older than it did even a year prior to the Rumble (in my opinion, of course).

As for Bryan being in the match...Reigns/Bryan probably should've happened at WrestleMania anyway, and I believe Edge talked about wanting to work with Bryan during his injury sabbatical. Add in Edge being 47, coming off of neck fusion surgery, AND recovering from a torn tricep (any one of those injuries could end someone's career...not to mention that he tore his achilles a while back as well), and I don't know how anyone can really mind Bryan being in the match. Reigns, as good as he is, isn't the type of guy that can carry someone like 2021 Edge to a great match, maybe not even to a good one depending on what he has to work with. They need Bryan in there.
