According to Twitter, there seems to be a lot of desire for Edge to win the championship.



And I agree that the match sucks without Daniel Bryan. Whether Edge was a heel or face, didn't matter. The story of Edge as a face overcoming the odds and defeating a heel Reigns wouldn't have been as intriguing as Daniel Bryan or whoever else they could've used in that spot. They knew that and had to come up with something quick to make up for it. Seems like a lot of this card was thrown together recklessly and with not much preparation. I think they booked themselves into a corner. If Edge wins, then what? Is he prepared for a more active schedule especially at his age? If Daniel Bryan wins, how long is he gonna continue for, especially with rumors of him wanting a lighter schedule and retirement? What about Roman? If he wins, then whats next for him? Having him retain is the best option even tho it may not have that feel good moment like DB winning. Who knows, maybe we'll get a repeat of last year and have someone come out at the end of the show and challenge the champ like Big Show did.

Daniel Bryan is one of those wrestlers, like Bret Hart, who is so good at his craft, that you just want to be wrestling him on a PPV. He will make you look good and keep you safe at the same time. Reigns has great chemistry with him, and I think Edge is grateful he is getting a chance to wrestle him as well at least once.
