That shield does the impossible, even Spiderman had to call it out lol It's a unique weapon though and it suits him since he's only superhuman and can't take much big hits or match with the big boys without it.

Gotta disagree. The versatility that he uses it with in the movies. I'm also pretty sure I've seen him use a gun in one scene in the first avenger.
