Without googling, i'm sure Blumhouse makes more horror movies than a24 on average. I don't think they're as critically acclaimed, but i like Blumhouse WAY better. Midsommar, The Witch, and It Comes At Night are terrible movies that i don't see how anyone could like.:yeshrug:
Witch is dope :hubie:

but blumhouse has more variety which is due to your point of them making more flicks on average

I wouldn't sleep on Gravitas Ventures either - they're more low budget or independent releases/straight to IFC/Netflix or limited release. Not as popular or a lot of collections in their volume. But they have momentum with their movies, as well. If I see "gravitas ventures", I'm at least giving it a look.
Horror - Gravitas Ventures

The 20 Best-Reviewed Blumhouse Horror Movies | IndieWire
Best reviewed Blumhouse movies and Lords of Salem is on the list.

Blumhouse also teamed with Rob Zombie to make that movie and it broke the top 20.
I guess it wasn't as "trash" as a certain person made it out to be. :coffee:
@Jello Biafra would you care to address why you left the fact that one of Blumhouse's early movies was a collaboration with Zombie in your previous review?

Blumhouse on point. I don't do demonic stuff, and If I do I risk losing 3 days of good sleep. But some stuff I like to watch. Halloween was fantastic. It wasn't a horror film but just the story of this unstoppable, supernatural ass dude that you somehow have to escape
