Outside of the QB and DE positions (and the QB evolution is met with a lot of resistance), has football really evolved? Meanwhile, in basketball, you got scoring point guards like Rose and Westbrook, point forwards like Lebron, 6'11 guards like Durant, power forwards like Love that can shoot the 3 and take you off the dribble. Outside of the C position, I feel like all the other positions have evolved. I don't think any other sport evolves faster than basketball for that matter. Speak on it.

Most of that shyt isn't new.

And Lebron is a once-in-a-generation player, certainly not a sign of the game evolving

it depends on what you mean.

as a whole, the nfl has transitioned into being a passing league pretty quick. rules are being changed and offenses are adapting. i don't think basketball has changed like that in the past few years.

but with athletes becoming bigger, faster and stronger.. i think the nba feels the impact of that more. individual players have more of an impact on the game. and i think at the top, it requires the most amount of athleticism.

The center position has evolved as well, especially with the influx of European big guys. You now have plenty of centers who shoot long jump shots, whereas before there might have been one or two and it was almost on some novelty shyt (Manute Bol :usure:).
