Most comic book movies don't :coffee:

This.

shyt, I love "Logan" and only seen it twice. Love "The Dark Knight" and only seen it like 3 times.

If you got a crazy set up then "Aquaman" might be worth rewatches just due to the visuals. Aside from that, not really.

It's on HBO now and I'm not paying any attention to it. Just background noise.

None of the dialogue or characters grab me. It could easily be watched on mute.

I watched it once before and thought it was fine enough, but now I'm not so sure.

It gets a pass for being better than the usual DC fair and that may just be it.

:lupe:

Me and the misses tried to watch it on HBO saturday and it was meh
..
The main issue was the weak ass dialogue. The action was decent, acting was soso but the dialogue definitely dragged it down a few notches

Wonder woman was just a carbon copy of the first captain America too.
The first avenger cap was better simply because of the whole underdog/progression of the character. That usually always makes a good story. Wonder woman was ok. Visually more stunning than actual story.

I found black panther to be better than aquaman from a story perspective but the CGI was a ton better. This just goes to show you that if black panther was filmed on a bigger budget, it would probably be one of the greatest films of all time. We could all relate to both Killmonger and T'Challa while Black Manta was the only character that stood out. I wish he was in a suicide squad movie.

BP cost like 200 million bruh. And A bigger budget doesnt make the story any better. The movie however already is considered one of the best comic book movies made. So it basically performed better financially and critically then maybe anyone had predicted.

Mostly every movie that isn't like comedy has zero or near zero replay value. A movie really just lacks appeal when you know what's coming up. I mean sure you won't remember every detail, but you'll remember the important stuff. Now if it's more of a complex movie, like Inception or Memento, or one that really makes you think then that's different.

At least with a quality comedy movie, the jokes are good for more than just one time, especially if it's been a long tie since you watched it and have forgotten the jokes. There have been numerous comedies I have rewatched. I can't even remember the last time I rewatched a movie from another genre.
