had a dual monitor since i was like 14. could NEVER go back

my common uses of dual monitors:

2 webpages open at each
tv show/movie on tv while webpage open on monitor
1 webpage open for research while typing in word on the other
gaming on one while my entire playlist is on the other screen so i can see what songs im skipping to/from
video editing on one while looking at guides on the other
video chat on one while looking at a fullscreen webpage on another

could go on forever

i could only imagine a 3 screen setup

I got a 42 in TV and a 55 in TV both hooked up to my PC and cable box. I switch the smaller between the TV and PC.

Back in MIA
Two 24's (pain in the ass to get both to work with my non-retina MBP) and one 20 (I think it's 20 anyway) for my iPad or iPhone. Plus a 32 inch hung up on the opposite wall with an Apple TV.

if you wanna talk about displays...this is what i'm waiting for!

imagine this hooked up to a pc with a larger screen....or a sphere that you are inside of with the whole inner surface being a display unit.

Yeah, I'm probably going to add another monitor as well.

Problem is, I copped my joint on Black Friday and it was like 200 for a 27in, I looked up the same model a few weeks ago when I first though about adding another, and the full price is like 350-400

I guess we'll see what it's looking like in November

:wtf:

Post a panoramic shot of this setup. Seems like it's cluttered as hell.

i got dual at work.
i could actually use 3.

at home i have 2 but only really use 1.
the second monitor is chilling above my main 23" 1080 joint just for looks.

the one that is just chilling is a 18" joint that i got for free.
