Does anyone have a greater album run then Marvin Gaye? (What's Going On - Here My Dear)

Is there a greater 4 album run then what Marvin Gaye accomplished from 1971 - 1978? (any genre, groups included)

What's Going On (1971)
Let's Get In On (1973)
I Want You (1976)
Here, My Dear (1978)

The quality, range, longevity of these 4 albums makes them my favorite 4 album run of any artist/group ever.

You might as well throw In Our Lifetime and Midnight Love on there and talk about it as a 6 album run.

One of my favorites runs. People don't give enough love to Southernplayalistic and I still love Stankonia. ATLiens and Aquemini seem to be undisputed classics.
Southernplayalistic - ATLiens - Aquemini - Stankonia.
I really hate how underrated Southernplayalistic is. It’s like they only associate OutKast with the more artistic alternative directions they’d go in on later work. That Southern player funk is what I might actually prefer. :hubie:

It’s my favorite OutKast album.

It’s not as creative as the follow-ups but I just prefer the sound the most.

The title track is still probably my favorite song from them.

I’ve been listening to Ain’t No Thang a lot recently too.
