Does anyone else think the Celtics are about to be broken up after tonight?

They were close to done last year if Rose didnt get injured Bulls probably beat them in 5 in the 2nd round and they would have rebuilded this past summer..

That's exactly what would've happened. We'd be looking at an entirely different Celtics team (one that doesn't include Rondo).

He's hot garbage. He's still a top 10 PG in the league? Folk were saying he was the #1 /#2 at the end of last season - now he's only top 10? I don't give a fukk about Rondo, I'm just telling it like it is. I told nikkas seasons ago, and kept telling them (+ got shytted on in the process), now suddenly folk see him for what he is and I'm the bad guy?

:childplease:

:salute:

I made the Rondo is a mediocre player/most overrated player in the league thread on :hamster: and there were those who tried to deny that.

He's always been an overrated stat padder who was never near the upper echelon of PGs (Chris Paul, Rose, Westbrook, Deron Williams at his peak, etc.). A guy with no jumper who teams consistently ignore in half court sets cannot be mentioned as elite in any way, shape or form.

They lost the 2010 Finals because Kobe was playing 10 feet Rondo the entire series and he couldn't make the Lakers pay for that.

Honestly, the Thunder would probably be a pretty good spot for him. He never wants to shoot and he'd pass the ball plenty to Durant and Westbrook.

The season isn't over but I was surprised how much credit they got for getting fab and sullinger . They were penciling them in for 50 wins

they figured Jason Terry could fill in for Allen but Terry isn't a catch and shoot SG... he needs to put the ball on the floor and create his own shot..

By just looking at their roster you would think they would be a lot better then they are

They lost the 2010 finals because the Lakers size was too much but no arguments with the rest of your post. :cook: on breh

I know all teams must go through it, but when they started trading away guys who were part of the "emotional" backbone of the team (Perkins, Big Baby) I knew it was a matter a time. Their strenghth to me was their interior presence, and they traded that away, when Jesus (:lawd:) left that was the nail in the coffin to me. They'll still an above-average team with Pierce, KG and Rondo but no longer at that high level IMO. Maybe they prove us wrong, but I doubt it.

I told nikkas since day 1. As soon as KG and PP hit Larry Holmes status, everyone will see Rondo for what he is. Hot garbage.

Oh, we still disagree. Saying he has deficiencies and is playing with no fire is not the same as me thinking he's "hot garbage." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

If Ainge decides to blow it up, then I hope they do it properly. Which means:

Garnett for Perkins, Perry Jones and Toronto 1st rounder.

Terry for Brandon Roy.

then Celtics amnesty Perk, Roy retires and they buy out Pierce for 4 mill in the last year of his deal (IIRC that's the buy out he has..) and starts next season fresh with this

Cc - Wilcox, Fab Melo
PF - Sullinger, Bass
SF - Green, Jones
SG - Bradley, Lee
PG - Rondo, 1st rounder?

and suck enough to go after Wiggins :shaq: cause that team would struggle to score 60 :heh:

and KG can go and get that ring in OKC like he deserves :salute:
