I'm torn. Even though there's some serious fall of the Roman Empire vibes here in the US, in the event of a serious global economic downturn, I feel like it's better positioned to withstand whatever fallout may come. Defensively we're in a great position, location wise; we're not bordering or close to a lot of adversarial countries. A lot of natural resources. Talented labor pool, etc.

At the very least, I do feel more pressure to learn, at least, one additional language and some skills to give myself some options, in case shyt gets really dodgy here.

Those places are more racist and the only other language I can speak a lil is Spanish and I wouldn’t dare move to any of those countries. I need my Cali ZA you can’t get that anywhere I know the food quality may be better And even the overall QOL but fukk all that

Nothing wrong with expanding one's horizons and experiencing life. Immerse yourself in another culture and make new friends abroad. You'll end up with 2 places to call home. Have College friends currently living in Belgium, Austria, and a former co-worker living in Thailand. I also have 2 childhood friends who lived in Japan after the military. As long as you seriously research where you want to go and prepare to have enough or make enough funds, it should be a great experience.

I lived overseas in Africa for 3 months. It gave me a change of perspective living in an environment that was different from the "dog eat dog" mentality

To reap the benefits of life, having a stable income is important.

No country is as racist as this one … especially that’s bullshyt when talking about black countries … how is a black country more racist than America??? And listen you never left your block types other blacks love our style, they listen to our music, they know it better than we do sometimes. they look up to us and our income levels here, our politics here, our sports hero’s past and present and what we’ve done to fight white supremacy …they love us … this is facts.
